There's lots of Free or low costing events happening around Darwin & Palmerston that families can take advantage of in January 2016. Having 3 boys of my own I know its hard to fill all those days with things that wont dehydrate the wallet. Most of the events I'll post about will either be free or very low cost making it easy on the budget.

Wow what an amazing year it has been. I've had the pleasure of working with some talented and inspirational peeps this year. From Fairies to Pixies to Elves to the Guy in the Big Red Suit, Sparkly Mermaids, Clowns, Bloonies and even a cute little bunny.

​I can only hope the universe will reward me with an equally if not better year to come. ​

My highlight for the year come as a little surprise as it was from an event that I least expected. A beautiful Mum posted on my Yenz Face Painting Face Book Page thanking me for painting her 2 girls at The Darwin Waterfront's New Years Eve event and the Photos say it all. Words can't express how these pics filled my heart with joy and happiness and how much it means to me that this thoughtful Mum took the time to share them with me. ​

I often worry that at large events like this that the magic of being on my chair is lost in the craziness of having to speed paint and the worry of keeping the line moving. Leaving very little time to try and make a special connection with the peeparoonies on my Chair. But these little girls have really made my year by showing me that the Magic is there I just need to remind myself to look into all those beautiful eyes because its right there in front of me, beyond the paint..!!!! ​

I'm super excited about what 2016 has in store For Darwin Face Painting - Yenz Face Painting and we're starting it off with a busy January so be sure to keep up to date with where Yenz and Friends will be at so we can create a little Brush Magic for you.. :) ​
